Relay File Open was designed as the single entry point for Client and Matter data for your firm. The system is independent of your Accounting, Time & Billing, Document Management and Records systems. This design allows us to retrieve information from any of these systems to help with the File Opening process.
Our wizard interface and workflow prompt the user for only the necessary information at each step in the workflow. We then guide the information through YOUR intake and approval processes. This streamlines the intake for the specific type of client or matter to be opened.
When the information gathering and conflicts reporting process has been completed and approved, we then write the data to one or all of these systems, as well as send email notifications to inform users that the process has been completed. In short, Relay eliminates the need for creating synchronization processes after a file is opened.
